Handpicking & Harvesting
We have teams of pickers in remote areas of Herat, Afghanistan. who carefully pick saffron threads, in some cases requiring extensive and even dangerous work. We deeply appreciate the immense efforts and sacrifices made by our pickers. Their work is not only physically demanding but also requires a deep understanding of the delicate balance between human interaction and the preservation of nature’s resources.

Drying
Drying saffron is a crucial step in the saffron production process as it helps preserve the flavor, aroma, and vibrant color of the spice.To check if the saffron is properly dried our quality control team follow and document every step and ensure proper drying techniques are followed. It helps prevent mold or bacterial growth in the Saffron.

Manufacturing
We follow a rigorous process that avoids any unnecessary heat or chemical treatments that could compromise the nutritional value of our saffron. By preserving the raw state of our saffron threads, we aim to provide you with the utmost potency and health-promoting properties that saffron has to offer.

Bottling
All of our spice packing is done in-house by our Australia Spice team, ensuring the highest quality products. All of our spices are salt-free and packaged by hand to ensure maximum quality and freshness. Packaged in glass - BPA free under the watch of our quality control experts.

We're dedicated to helping foster sustainable farming and providing an income source for many single mothers and their families.
